Landauer Publishing was an independent publisher specializing in quilt making and needle arts how-to and project books. My experience at Landauer was rich and diverse. I wrote copy for sell sheets, press releases, and catalogs, as well as designing all of these marketing items. I wrote and designed weekly emails to consumers, using MailChimp. In addition, I coordinated our presence at a biannual trade show, and had fulfilling interactions with our talented authors. I loved becoming my own copywriter, after having worked with so many great marketing writers throughout my career.
In May 2018, Fox Chapel Publishing bought the company, making it one of its many imprints, and closed Landauer’s doors.
